Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring 2002 Silk Dress

Christian Dior Spring 2002 ready-to-wear show opened with stunningly styled looks inspired by romanticism in the spirit of Marie Antoinette combined with street style elements. As always, John Galliano was able to give the collection the perfect name by simply calling it ‘Street Chic’.
Bias-cut silk and lace dresses that opened the show were among the most memorable pieces of the collection and made their way to the Nick Knight’s campaign of the season starring Gisele Bundchen.
An asymmetrical neckline and a wide shoulder strap make this dress recognizable and modern. The silk of the highest quality has almost not lost its charm, despite the decent age of this iconic dress. An extremely rare piece and a true grail of Dior by Galliano era.
