Roberto Cavalli Fall 2002 Patchwork Shearling Jacket

Roberto Cavalli's experiments on prints using a mixture of innovation, technology and cheerful fantasies made him one of the most important designers of the early 2000s. Glamour and luxury is what we love Cavalli for, and what's more luxurious than the pieces inspired by the neat old brocades of an expensive mansion. The runway of Fall 2002 collection looked exactly like a hall of such mansion with a huge framed mirror and gorgeous massive chandeliers.
A patchwork of various beautiful ornaments of chic tapestries was printed on some of the pieces of the collection, including this stunning shearling jacket. The jacket has a large fur collar, is tied with leather laces and has an iconic Cavalli golden stitching between the print fragments.
