D&G Fall 2002 Knitted Cardigan with Floral Embroidery

The first show of the Fall 2002 season that declared a Tyrolean-Bavarian theme was the D&G show in Milan. In the scenery of the spring forest, two full-size plastic cows with a milking stool and a bucket, and milk chocolate bars for everyone in the press attending, the inspiration behind the collection was very clear. The models appeared on the runway in tight-fitting black lace-up bodices, puffy skirts embroidered with white-red-green floral ornaments, voluminous knitted pieces, loose cargo pants and light chiffon blouses. One of the runway pieces, a cozy knitted cardigan is adorned with the most beautiful floral embroidery. The cardigan is zipped up and has a big collar. We have a green option of this wonderful piece and it’s giving a very rustic, wooded and without any doubt alpine mood.
