For Christian Dior Spring-Summer 2005 show John Galliano presented a peace-and-love hippie themed collection. Iconic peace anthem - John Lennon`s "Imagine" created additional importance to the political statements Galliano has prepared for the runway, such as the slogans "Dior for Peace" and "Dior not War" on the jackets and tees.
Dior logo peace sign items were not presented on the runway but were made for the retail in different variations: as a print on t-shirts with Swarovski crystals, as a buckle on shoes, bags and accessories. One of this pieces, a silver logo peace sign buckle leather belt in beige has two rows of leather knots and silver-tone studs.
