Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2004 Red Spots Print Top

Jean Paul Gaultier’s love for science fiction inspired him to create some of the coolest pieces in fashion history. A lot of space/future references were less obvious that the iconic cyberdot bodysuits for example, but added a special vibe to each piece. The red spots print that appeared on the runway of Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2004 runway looks like an alien bacteria under microscope multiplying at an incredible rate.
The top with this print on the front has a fully printed back with smaller spots, suspender straps, and is adorned with a beautiful lace detailing at the bottom. Made of a soft thin material, the top is very stretchy and depending on the height can be worn as a mini dress.
