Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2007 Runway Cropped Silk Bomber

Jean Paul Gaultier Spring-Summer 2007 ready-to-wear collection was dedicated to the designer's 30th anniversary in fashion.
To celebrate his own history, Gaultier used his spring collection to unveil season's sporty inspired styles, while also looking back at three decades of unforgettable fashion. Together with the reedition of some archive pieces, the mood and the energy of the 80s was shown through sport and aerobics references.
Most of the runway looks consisted of silk bombers in countless colour variations. Decorated with embroideries of Japanese motifs, Gaultier logo and number «30» these bombers were a true celebration of the brand's anniversary.
This stunning black silk bomber, as seen on the runway, is decorated with the embroideries of Gaultier logo on the back, and a monkey on one of the cream-coloured sleeves. This extremely cropped bomber has two silk ribbons that can be wrapped around the body. Essentially sporty piece is sexy, couture and glamorous in true Gaultier style.
