John Galliano 2000s Black-and-White Gazette Lingerie Top

A newspaper print that originally became popular in 1930s thanks to the designs of Elsa Schiaparelli, was reinterpreted by John Galliano for both Christian Dior`s and his own brand’s SS2001 collections. Galliano was inspired by Paris’s homeless people sleeping along the Seine covering themselves with newspapers. It has since become the signature print of the Designer`s 2000s era for both brands.
The "Galliano Gazette" depicts various images of John Galliano with headlines, articles, and interviews related to him, creating his own newspaper on different garments. This 2000s lingerie top in a classic black-and-white Gazette print with semi-transparent lace cups divided by a grey draped ribbon with grommets is one of the sexiest pieces with this iconic print.
