Chanel Spring 1998 show opened (literally opened) with a girl squad appearing on the runway in the looks most fitting for the south of France vacation. Being a step ahead of everyone, as if leading the team to the beach, Kate Moss was wearing a classic black blazer, knee socks and a beret - a true french girl as imagined by foreigners. A grey one piece looking like a vintage swimsuit was the most interesting part in this look. Being one of the key elements of Karl Lagerfeld’s sport chic invented for the house, a minimalistic small black CC logo was also applied on the chest of the bodysuit.
