A clear ode to Christian Dior’s original designs, curvy suits appeared on the runway of John Galliano’s Spring 2005 collection for the house. Made in various materials, adorned with embroideries or utility pockets, the blazers had a very distinctive silhouette that made them instantly recognizable. No wonder, every other celebrity was wearing pieces from this collection to every important event that year. A star of the seasons campaign, Riley Keough was posing in one of the coolest Spring 2005 blazers, the construction of which reminds of the biker jacket, cargo vest and a casual blazer. The same piece in different colour and material was worn by Jennifer Lopez on the set of the «Hold you down» music video.
