Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2004 Red Spots Print Dress

Jean Paul Gaultier’s love for science fiction inspired him to create some of the coolest pieces in fashion history. A lot of space/future references were less obvious that the iconic cyberdot bodysuits for example, but added a special vibe to each piece. The red spots print that appeared on the runway of Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2004 runway looks like an alien bacteria under microscope multiplying at an incredible rate.
The dress with this print on the front has a fully printed back with smaller spots and is adorned with red lacing in the neck and sleeve area. Made of a soft thin material, the dress is very stretchy and also very long.
