Alexander McQueen Spring 2002 Runway Trousers

"The Dance of the Twisted Bull" was the title of Alexander McQueen's highly anticipated Spring-Summer 2002 collection. The main theme of the collection was dance as the art of seduction and struggle in the context of Spanish culture. The expression of flamenco and the cruelty of bullfighting combined in silhouettes that emphasize the figure and give a sense of confidence and superiority.
These trousers with deep cutouts on the sides and ties that mimic corset bands, worn on the runway by Natasa Vojnovic, were one of the most memorable moments of the collection.
