D&G Fall 2002 Corduroy Trousers with Suede Applique

The first show of the Fall 2002 season that declared a Tyrolean-Bavarian theme was the D&G show in Milan. In the scenery of the spring forest, two full-size plastic cows with a milking stool and a bucket, and milk chocolate bars for everyone in the press attending, the inspiration behind the collection was very clear. The models appeared on the runway in tight-fitting black lace-up bodices, puffy skirts embroidered with white-red-green floral ornaments, voluminous knitted pieces, loose cargo pants and light chiffon blouses.
These D&G Fall-Winter 2002/2003 trousers perfectly convey this alpine mood of the runway. Flared trousers made of brown corduroy are decorated with suede applique in the form of leaves.
